Pro 14:6 A scorner seeks wisdom, and it is not found, but knowledge is easy to him who understands.
“him who understands” is translated “open minded” in other translations. I prefer “teachable”, otherwise the scorner is a “know-it-all” and refuses wisdom even when it is right under his nose.
