Acts 15:10-11
Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Rom 14:6 The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
1 Cor 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

1 Tim 4:4-5 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
1 Samuel 9:10-13 Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was. And as they went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here? And they answered them, and said, He is; behold, he is before you: make haste now, for he came to day to the city; for there is a sacrifice of the people to day in the high place: as soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.

Notice it is God who allows the false prophet to prove you.
Deut 13:1-3 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Isaiah 28:9-13
Whom shall he teach knowledge?
and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?
them that are weaned from the milk,
and drawn from the breasts.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;
line upon line, line upon line;
here a little, and there a little:
for with stammering lips and another tongue
will he speak to this people.
To whom he said,
This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest;
and this is the refreshing:
yet they would not hear.
But the word of the Lord was unto them
precept upon precept, precept upon precept;
line upon line, line upon line;
here a little, and there a little;
that they might go, and fall backward,
and be broken, and snared, and taken.
In contrast to the unteachable prideful ones in Isaiah 28:1-8 who produce immature fruit, those who are teachable in knowledge and understanding of doctrine are mature [have been weaned from milk – note you must first be raised on the milk before you mature, those who are still on milk still have not been practicing the basics].
The crown of pride (ie: bible correctors) is contrasted with those who study God’s words repeatedly line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little.
To contrary, the elders who are spiritually mature from laboring in the word and doctrine wear their gray hair as a crown of glory.
Proverbs 16:31 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
1 Tim 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Notice to that the refreshing (the Holy Spirit) in v11-12 is in between studying God’s words in v10 and v13.
we are NOT the result of what has been done to us…
we ARE the result of what we have done and how we have reacted to what has been done to us…
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
if it has a name, then you already have victory over it in Jesus
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him [Jesus], and given Him a name which is above every name (Phil 2:9)
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
How can I have faith for something that is not in the Bible?
