The corner stone sets the standard for direction is what all other stones measured from and aligned to.
Isaiah 28:16 therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
On the other hand, the capstone is the anti-christ who exalts himself above all others…

*Note that it was quietly changed to cornerstone in the 2011 NIV along with 38% corruptions of other scriptures
