Can you be sure of your salvation?
The King James Bible consistently says ARE SAVED in the following verses:
Eph 2:8 KJB For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God
1 Cor 1:18 KJB For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God
Modern bibles
NASB says ‘have been saved’ in Eph 2:8 but ‘being saved’ in 1Cor 1:18
AMP says ‘are saved’ in Eph 2:8 but ‘being saved’ in 1Cor 1:18
NIV says ‘have been saved’ in Eph 2:8 but ‘being saved’ in 1Cor 1:18
HCSB says ‘are saved’ in Eph 2:8 but ‘being saved’ in 1Cor 1:18
