That the eyes of my understanding be enlightened

Father God of glory,  
God of our Lord Jesus Christ,  

I ask you to give me   
the Spirit of wisdom   
and revelation   
in the knowledge of You.  

That the eyes of my understanding   
be enlightened  

That I may know   
what is the hope of Your calling
and what are the riches of the glory
of my inheritance in Jesus  

And what is the exceeding
greatness
of Your power
in me as a believer

according to the working   
of Your mighty power,  

Which You wrought   
in the Lord Jesus Christ,  

when You raised Him from the dead,   

and set Jesus
at Your own right hand
in the heavenly places,

Far above   
all principality,  
and power,  
and might,  
and dominion,  
and every name that is named,   

not only in this world,  
but also in that which is to come: 

And hath put all things
under Jesus' feet,

and gave Jesus to be the head   over all things to His body, 
of which I am a member,

which is the fulness of Jesus
that filleth all in all
