you do well to be offended

Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good Romans 12:9

To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Psalm 8:13

Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. Deuteronomy 7:26

what is tragically lost in today’s world is a sense of moral outrage…

we have been desensitized to a point that nothing is offensive and anything goes…

God however has not changed His position on anything, His judgement and justice remains true an changes not…

we should not mistake as permissiveness God’s grace of allowing time for us to come to our senses and repent

God admonishes us in scripture to regard unclean things as an abomination, to abhor evil, and to keep it far from us

the surest way to keep from sin is for sin to be as much of an abomination, as offensive, as detestable, as much of an outrage to you as it is to God

if we truly are reborn as a child of God and have His nature within us, then the things that are an abomination to the Lord should be an abomination to us as well.

if we have the Holy Spirit indwelling within us, then the things that grieve Him should grieve us…

Love that is sincere, by nature hates evil…

if the sin that pervades the world does not bother you, then you would do well to examine yourself…

[The wicked] deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil. Psalm 36:4
