Age of Accountability

For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings

Isaiah 7:16

This indicates there is an age of innocence, before knowing to refuse evil and choose good.

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

2 Samuel 12:23

This indicates that David will see his innocent son in heaven.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons

Genesis 3:7

This indicates that when innocence was lost, they were aware of their nakedness.

dry seasons

Sometimes we go through dry seasons, though these are often times of growth. Often a tree appears dormant, but it is just putting down deeper roots.

Continue in prayer and bible study, trust that He keeps His word and never leaves you.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Heb 13:5

the law

Law can be grouped into moral law, ceremonial law, dietary law. Jesus fulfilled all the law. We are not saved or stay saved by keeping the law.

Instead we are born again a new creature in Christ. The result of that is we love God and others and our new nature is to live out the moral law driven by love not by religious requirement.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself

Gal 5:14

Godhead

We would all fair far better to stop using the pagan term “trinity” and trying to explain the Godhead with sophistry rather than scripture.

Godhead defined:

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1 John 5:7

We should not try and make our own “image” (product of our imagination) of the Godhead

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

Acts 17:29
