Thorn

Some try and create confusion about Paul’s thorn in the flesh. Those who do so are setting up for selling their own opinion.

Simply read in context and don’t listen to opinions of men…

In 2 Cor 10:7 Paul clearly states it is the messenger of Satan to buffet him

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

2 Cor 12:7

Then in 2 Cor 12:10 Paul summarizes the buffetings and details them in 2 Cor 11:24-30

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2 Cor 12:10

Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

2 Cor 11:24-30

Godhead

Three person “trinity” is not biblical and comes from pagan idolatry.

We should not use philosophy and traditions of men to try and describe the Godhead (Col 2:8-9).

We are not to represent the Godhead using our own art and device (Acts 17:29).

When we go beyond what God’s words actually say we create idols of our own understanding (Hosea 13:2).

The bible word is “Godhead” and the definition of Godhead is

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

One God (Deut 6:4; 1 John 5:7), one person (Col 2:8-9; 2 Cor 2:10; Heb 1:1-3), three members (1 John 5:7; 1 Cor 12:12).

Septuagint-onlyists

Many of these “Septuagint-onlyists” mock the reasoned defense of KJB believers even while clinging to the fairytale of a BC LXX for which there is zero evidence

Questions concerning the so-called septuagint.

What evidence is there:

  1. for a B.C. Septuagint
  2. that a B.C. Septuagint was widely accepted and used?
  3. that B.C. Septuagint was commonly accepted and used by Jews?
  4. that Jews would adopt pagan greek (used for commerce) for their religious studies and practices?
  5. that if there was a septuagint as described in pseudepigrapha letter of Aristeas, that it was more than the Pentateuch?

Also:

  1. Of the many variants of so-called septuagints, which is the authentic one?
  2. Of the many so-called septuagint texts we have today, which one is based on mss that are older than codexes Alexandrinus, Vaticanus, and Sinaiticus?
  3. Is there evidence of a Septuagint mss prior to Origin’s Hexapla?

How did they fit on the Ark?

Only needed the prescribed number of each KIND, not every variation of species.

For example, from one pair of the dog kind we have all the varieties of breeds we see today.

Also, was no need to bring fully grown adult pairs of each kind, for example full size elephants.

Instead would be more advantageous to bring smaller juveniles on the ark that would be just coming of mating age when leaving the ark to take full advantage of breeding cycles post flood.

Compromise

There will soon be a time (if not already here) when 501c corporations will have to compromise truth and biblical authority in order to keep their tax advantaged status.

Of course most of these have already willingly compromised even without pressure to do so.
